Today, God’s message for you is to fear no one except the Lord Himself. Serve his mission faithfully with all of your being. Open your eyes to all that is good. It surrounds you. Be gracious in your appreciation of these gifts. What a beautiful world in which you live!

Today, God’s message to you is that all things are possible for those who believe.  Faith is sometimes the only thing you have, but what a gift it is.  With faith you can press on in the midst of adversity.  Have faith, and it will light your path.

These were the most recent messages and the common thread is Faith!  According to His word, if you have faith like a mustard seed you can move mountains. A mustard seed by itself is pretty small. The problem is most of us can not muster up that much faith and therefore we often do not achieve more because we do not trust. This has been an area of growth for the little guy. We all need to trust The Lord more. According to Mathew 7:7,8, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened”. Be encouraged you can be alone but He will never forsake you…

There once was a trainer who shared this story about someone who after driving several miles got all the way out there to the Beach to their 8:30 training appointment. They were allegedly totally committed to improving their health and how they felt. After two previous sessions the person felt relief and was excited about finally experiencing this! In spite of that this person let another control how their day was going to play out.

You know what I am talking about! There are those of us that allow someone in our life to steal our joy. They straight out said: “I am not going to do it today because my friend is simply in one of those moods and did not like your input when you stated: “Let me know when you are ready to begin I will be here”! Several minutes later this coach being the motivator said, “Are you sure you want to skip today’s session “?  “Yes, it won’t be the same now”!, was the reply. This was the very first time this ever happened! The cliche: “There is always the first time for everything”, applies here!. Had that person seen this picture earlier that morning the outcome may have continued to improve how they felt on that day.

I want to thank all the folks who over the last 4 years have become family at Endurance Training Institute. We are a family of like minded people who share some common goals. We are united in spirit so to speak because we love living a healthy lifestyle.

If you have partnered with me at anytime over this course of time. My goal has been to help you reach your own goal and your full potential. All of us exercise at our own pace and at different intervals or time slots. Yet we share the willingness to do whatever it takes to reach better health, increase our fitness level and improve our journey!

The journey we are committed to is one full of adventure. To all my friends and family who are taking part in this endeavor. I commend you and would like to encourage you to never give up. Life will always happen. It is up to us and how we choose to react that makes us stronger and more efficient at the game of life.

P.S. If you would like to know more about my secret, feel free to friend me on facebook or contact me through wordpress.com.

wpid-wp-1398581290467.jpegWhen you shoot for the stars you can definitely reach the summit! A great many whom are mediocre do not want to see those of us who are not like them succeed. They do not realize the damage they are causing themselves, society and our generation. Mediocrity breeds complacency which in turn leads us to utter failure. That is not the legacy He intended for his people. And neither will I stop helping my fellow man improve.

Aside

When I first started this blog. I wanted the world to know how much of a great Personal Trainer I am. And how many things I am able to accomplish. How many races I have completed and how I trained for success in each of them. Yet even for me there is so much more to life than what I do for fun and to make a living. Don’t get me wrong I love what I do. I have such an awesome opportunity to help people reach personal goals, life goals, fitness goals, weight loss and life time achievement goals.

I realize now that life is more about my legacy. What will I be remembered by. Or how will I be remembered. Is it really about what someone did to attempt to hinder my progress. Or is it more about how I handled that breaking curve ball thrown at me with evil intentions. I am standing firmly on my two own feet in spite that there are very malicious people out there with jaded hearts. My prayer today is not to wish harm on the culprits. But that their hearts be changed for their own sake. So that perhaps they will not reap the rewards of their amiss actions. My strength comes from a much greater source which no man in the natural can fathom!

Who Am I?

Dear Fellow Bloggers

My name is Israel. I was born in New Jersey. In a sense that would make one of General Robert E. Lee’s boys. I am not much of a Civil War buff, yet I very much like the history around the civil war. This was an era when Soldiers were respected and or admired. I served in the U.S. Army for three years active and in the New Jersey National Guard for about 8.5.

Over the years, even before I became certified personal trainer. I participated in Step classes, Aerobic classes, Yoga, Zumba Kettle-bell Spin Classes, Aqua-aerobics and Cross-fit. Being very active I have done most races between the 5k and the half and full Marathon. I have been running, some of it competitive since age 10. Last October I did an obstacle course race called Savage Race.  I also cycle, though I do spinning more often now than actual cycling. I have played and coached basketball and volleyball. I especially enjoyed playing Beach volleyball

I have been a certified personal trainer for about 4 years. I have also been running my Business: Endurance Training Institute for almost 3 years. I am hoping to connect with some like minded people that will perhaps follow my blog and even possibly join me for a workout.

I am a practicing Christian as well as a musician and though I like several music genre. I mostly play worship music, of different styles. I love most Art: paintings, Ironworks, poetry, intelligent conversation and blogging is growing on me.
